  • I was only 100 feet from the entrance to his neighborhood when this rude driver pulls out in front of me causing me to slow down hard. Why he couldn't wait 5 seconds is beyond me. This action in combination with an driver not paying attention could definately cause an accident.

  • Pulls out from Cocoa Ave onto Blue Angel Parkway and only goes one block before turning left. Blue Angel Parkway is a two-way 45mph highway. There are some center turn places but not many and there is none at the turn he stopped at. So he pulls out into faster traffic to go one block and then stop for a left turn causing traffic behind him to slow a lot.

  • On Pine Forest Rd, this driver merged over in front of me too close and with no signal. He let his truck slightly veer over the white dotted line and then back before moving right again and completing the merge, but it was too close to my car as we are moving 50mph. I drove a Sierra for over six years and even had a camper top (which this guy didn't) but I knew how to be careful!

  • Traveling eastbound on western Mobile Hwy at Beulah Rd, the car in front of me was very close to the intersection when the above driver pulled out from the north side of Beulah Rd. The car in front of me had to brake hard and I did too but not as much because I wasn't close following. Too many idiots pull out from that intersection like that every day. The car in front of me turned off a mile later and in the school zone I was able to get the tag of the offending van driver. At least the driver slowed down for the school zone correctly!

  • Driver pulls out from Bankhead Rd. onto Blue Angel Hwy and does not speed up until a while after turning onto the 2-way highway. I had to hit brakes hard and slow to 30mph on this 45mph speed limit road. Driver still didn't speed up as if not paying full attention to speed. Then looking at driver's side rear-view mirror, saw what looked like driver is holding a hand by the ear, possibly for a phone. Driver speeds up finally and continues then turns on Saufley Field Rd where the speed limit is 45 but driver does 35 all the way down the road.

  • Nice early 1970's Plymouth Duster with rear trunk wing pulled out in front of faster traffic on west Mobile Hwy early this morning. Driver could have waited 10 seconds. Then as we approached the active school zone, the driver slowed to about 30 instead of the legal 20. Right after passing the school's road, driver increased speed about 80 feet before the sign "END SCHOOL ZONE". I don't drive like that in my classic cars.

Try this topic... tossing cigarettes   Thursday, January 31, 2013

    Vehicle: Chevy Colorado
    Color: Black
    Location: Pensacola, FL

A few days ago, I saw a Navy Chief toss a cigarette out the window while at a traffic light.

    1. Who thinks that is not a worthwhile flag here and who thinks it is bad enough to be mentioned?

    2. Who thinks that I should not mention that he is a Navy Chief? I do respect the US military (I was one) but since he was in uniform and had Navy stickers with the Chief symbol, it was plain that he was not concerned to be identified with the Navy while tossing the cigarette out on the street.

Some wanted a discussion. Others have left because of trolls. We'll see what happens.

Signal lighjt what signal light?   Friday, May 25, 2012

Im headed down the road at my usual pace which is at the SPEED Limit when assmunch number one skips three lanes and then has the audacity to refer to me as a n****r . Ok bob so I actually follow the rules of the road , how on earth does that warrant you refferring to me by a racist term? Oh im sorry that your Mcdonalds is getting cold , maybe you should stick that thing under your butt considering it problably smells just as bad. Contestant number two tried to switch into my lane without, you guessed it signaling. Comes within two inches of me and of course im honking at the wanker and oh wait he cant hear me because hes blasting his music for the entire freaking milky way to hear. Im sure Metallica is going to save your behind when your smashed between two cars like a cinnamon toasted smore all goey and white.Homosapien treats anyone?? Florida, PLEASE LEARN TO USE OTHER LANES!   Tuesday, May 15, 2012

For the sake of EVERYTHING HOLY, Could Florida drivers PLEASE learn to use the middle and right lanes for yacking, texting, and general "Going nowhere" at the speed of "When I get there I get there"? ITS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE!!!!! ARE YOU THAT STUPID!? LEFT LANE IS FOR PASSING!!!! NOT LOLLY GAGGING! People always fail to realize that their "Safe and slow" driving is causing frustrations for dozens of other drivers... and frustrated drivers don't think with all their brains because the other part is occupied with being FRUSTRATED! If you're going 55 in a 70 and people are swerving around you to avoid you, YOU ARE NOT DRIVING SAFELY! YOU ARE AN ACCIDENT WAITING TO HAPPEN TO SOMEONE ELSE!

I almost crapped a brick the other day, I was driving in the left lane trying to pass some slower traffic when I realized I was VERY QUICKLY approaching another car in front of me. NO ONE in front of her, everyone behind her had already gone around. As I am STUCK behind this dumb cow (as EVERYONE is now passing ME and I can't exactly jump into another lane with an extended cargo van) she pulls her cell phone away from her ear and motions ME to go around!!!!!

If I didn't have a full pack of cigs in the cup holder, I would have rammed her dumb ___ off the road!!!

Situations like this seem to happen on a daily basis.

People like you - Keeping big tobacco in business!

Also, cell phones are getting WAY out of hand. If you can't drive at 95% of your abilities WHILE talking, then DON'T TALK! Ignore the call, turn the phone off, WHATEVER. People who text and drive should immediately have ALL driving privelages PERMANENTLY revoked! Your conversation is NOT more important than my safety!

Officers, isn't stupid driving considered wreckless too?

Alert Florida Plate 4SMILE Black Nissan Xterra   Thursday, November 03, 2011

What possesses someone to rackrabbit start then slam on the brakes like 5 times in a row and then swerve into your lane and jam on the brakes twice on JTB!?! I did nothing to this person besides pull out behind them leaving southpoint. 4SMILE is the license and they drive a black Nissan Xterra with a handicap thingie on the rearview. I followed onto 295 to file a report and they took off like mad almost hitting two other vehicles. I filed a report with FHP but unless they catch up with them nothing will be done.

Did I do something to offend unintentionally? Were they looking to file an insurance claim? I suspect the last one.

Cut across parking spaces in front of me   Monday, February 14, 2011

H85-9UU in a black Mercedes-Benz 300SD with Tea Party-issue bumper stickers cut across several aisles of parking spaces and almost hit my rental car as I was traveling in an aisle at the Lake Square Mall in Leesburg, Florida. I beeped, stared at his car when he parked, but did not see the driver when he got out. I left a note telling him I recorded his plate number and what he did wrong (also that traffic laws are not unconstitutional).

FL Panhandle BOOMcar Participants   Wednesday, September 22, 2010

"Thank You." to all those that participated in this morning's rush hour to work/school/playtime along the connector street between junction of SR-71 and US-90. Alot of you owning cars/trucks and playing the amplified music have gotten the word about keeping the loudness level low to stay within the 25 feet limit outlined in Florida Statue 316.3045. For those few caught today, sorry for the delay after being reported. Maybe tomorrow or later on you'll begin to catch on as well. Personally speaking, IF you want to have your auto sound like an elephant, drive it backwards so you'll have that TRUNK up front to better communicate those gutteral low frequency sounds to all your other BOOMcar friends. I don't think its unlawful to drive backwards on a road in florida. I would recommend having your "HAZARD/4-Ways/Parking Lights" flashing as a safety precaution.

CITATIONS MAY BE ISSUED BY LOCAL AUTHORITIES TO OPERATORS CHOOSING TO DISREGARD POSTED SIGNS OR UNMARKED PARKING AREAS.

EXCEPT FOR THOSE MOTORCYCLES PROPERLY IDENTIFIED WITH THE "HANDICAPPED" ICON ON THE LICENSE PLATE OR TEMPORARY "HANDICAPPED" TAG POSTED ON THE MOTORCYCLE, THESE MAY BE EXEMPTED BASED UPON THE LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER'S DETERMINATION AT THAT TIME.

ALL MOTORCYCLE OPERATORS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO REQUEST THAT WALMART "RECOGNIZE" THE NEED FOR MOTORCYCLE PARKING SLOTS AT ALL THEIR STORES. EVEN IF THEY PLACED UP NEXT TO THEIR BUILDINGS.

BUT THIS AREA OF PARKING NEAR THE BUILDING WILL BE INTERPRETTED AS A DISCRIMINATORY ACTION BY WALMART TOWARDS ALL OTHER MOTORISTS/CUSTOMERS THAT CHOOSE TO SHOP AT WALMART.

This is a picture gallery on my local newspaper website about an accident involving a school bus yesterday. My intention here is to make you aware of school starting and to please be careful around school buses and school zones. Frequently I am tailgated in active school zones and sometimes even passed (on a two-way road). Have a SAFE day! :-)

Dangerous Driver Alert   Sunday, December 27, 2009

There is another dangerous driver I encountered that I need to let everyone out there on PlateWire about. This happened on Sunday evening, 12/27/09 on North Boulevard just north of Kennedy Blvd. in Tampa.

I was slowing down on North Boulevard in preparation for a right turn on Kennedy Blvd. when some driver behind me for no reason tailgated me and tried to run me off the road. I am not sure what this driver was up to but the driver tried to run me off the road even I was making the right turn onto Kennedy.

Unfortunately, I was unable to get a description of the vehicle nor the tag number in order to file a PlateWire report as it was too dark. The driver who tried to run me off the road also gave me obscene gestures as he passed by me.

To the driver who attempted to run me off the road on North Boulevard north of Kennedy Blvd. in Tampa, you may think you were in a hurry to get somewhere. What you did to me on North Boulevard bordered on assault and if I had your vehicle description and tag number I would have called Tampa PD to make a report. Next time, if you need to be somewhere at a given time plan accordingly and leave early.
