  • Heading south on I-459 between 3&4pm 5/8/2010, this idiot failed to check his or her mirrors and look when attempting to merge into the left lane, thereby causing a pregnant woman (myself) to have to get 3/4 off the road to keep them from hitting my little Alero. This individual kept coming over the line for several seconds after I honked, having to not only get over closer to the concrete barrier, but slow down to let them blow on by. Completely unacceptable and obviously distracted driving.

  • Drafting is a technique best used on a superspeedway, not Research Park Boulevard at 7:30pm. If only this were a NASCAR race, this woman could have just bumped me out of her way and continue on her way at 80+ mph, weaving in and out of traffic to get to the University Drive ramp five seconds sooner. Good thing I didn't have to slow up for anything, or I would have had a trunk full of another car's front end... which I almost did anyway. It's drivers like this that really make me think Huntsville drivers are the absolute worst. (I know everyone says that about their town's drivers... I think Huntsville's are at least as bad.)

  • Me: First car waiting at the red light at AL-20 and Slaughter Road, waiting to turn left onto eastbound 20 towards I-565.
You: Reckless jerk in a large white pickup, towing a trailer full of lawn care equipment, blowing past a whole lane of cars that actually cared to stop for a light that had been red for several seconds, not even bothering to hit the brakes.
Guess what... that's how serious, life-altering and sometimes fatal accidents happen... because self-important jerks like you blatantly run lights that are unquestionably red. Good thing there wasn't anyone in the right lane who cared to stop for the light... you would have plowed into them at 60 mph before you even had the chance to hit me.
If your brakes don't work well, get them fixed. If you thought your trailer was too heavy, don't tow so much on it. But if you are just another jerkoff who needs to get to where he's going more than anyone else on the road... park your damn truck and turn in your license before you kill someone.

  • Have you ever been in this situation: you pass a car on the right. Sure.
Now, how about a situation pass a car on the right, then you draw up on another car in your lane? Less frequent, but sure, it happens. You already passed that first car, just slide over to go around the car you're drawing up to. Easy.
Now, how about when the car you just passed notices that you're drawing up on a slower-moving car in your lane... so they increase their speed to attempt to block you from completing the pass, trying to force you to brake hard suddenly... or plow into the slower-moving car, whatever.
Happens all too often, unfortunately. This is just the latest territorial jackass who considers it such a great affront to be passed that it must be half-heartedly blocked, but doesn't realize it until you've almost completed the pass.

  • Saturday noon I-10 outside Mobile, AL. I'm merging onto I-10 and this driver refuses to slow down just a bit so that I could merge over before running out of on-ramp. There was a lot of traffic and I made the best choice that I thought was safest. So I had to ride on the rough for a bit while I slowed down and waited for him to pass before I could accelerate and get into the lane. Have a nice day!

  • Really cute disabled girl driving better than 99% of people on the road and she HAD PROSTHETIC ARMS! Saw her reach up to wipe her hair away from her face when her hands caught my attention. She was driving an adpated van and was wearing those metal hook hand thingys. Two of them! She was signaling perfectly, driving the speed limit in the correct lane and incredibly gorgeous. I wonder if she was born like that? She should get the award icon but I opted for the WINK as she was HOT!!!

  • Skinny, white 30-something male with a smoking habit in a red car nearly caused an accident on the 565 W Sparkman Dr. exit ramp, deliberately. He came out of nowhere, speeding, cut me off, then slammed on his breaks again and again, clearly trying to cause me to hit him. He then parked on the active exit ramp right in front of me so that I cannot go around him, get out of his car, and cursed and threatened me. I almost called 911! My only regret is that I did not sufficiently memorize his license plate and make/model. Scary road rage!

  • Watch out for this one. In pouring down rain, on the Bayway, it likes to tailgate then pass and cut in with inches to spare. Yes, on the Bayway and apparently because no one was traveling any faster than 60 mph. Did I mention it was raining so hard you could barely see the car in front of you? So it is roughly half a mile in front of me as it disappears into the tunnel. After emerging from the tunnel myself and a few miles closer to my destination, who do I spy coming up behind me? IT! Unbelievable. Putting all those careful drivers in danger for nothing?

  • This driver (male, white, shaved head) was in and out of lanes, no signaling and speeding. He got in front of me and as we were approaching a stop signal, he slammed on his brakes and came to an abrupted stop with more than 2 car lengths ahead of him before he came to stop bar (there was no one in front of him). I was already coming to a stop when he did this. He knew I was aggrevated by his driving before the incident because I gave him the "bird" when he cut me off. He saw it in his mirror. He must of thought he was a genius or doing a stunt like that or he figured on an insurance scam. I wasn't ticketed because I have a clean record. I am a truck driver and my license is my life. Also, I was home in my POV and the local law know who I am and what kind of driver I am. Some needs to get morons like this off the road. He obviously thinks he owns the road. He doesn't care what happens to other people. What if I had my 4 yr old nephew in my car that day. It could have been worse than my front end being damaged.

  • Let's face it... other cars are going to plug up the left lane when they're not whizzing by slower cars... it's a frustrating given, unfortunately, that you'll get stuck behind one occasionally.
But take heart, everyone... you can follow the example of this maniacal jackass and tailgate the car directly in front of you, the one that's lined up behind the car that actually is plugging up the left lane. That'll really get things moving. It's widely understood that following the car immediately in front of you so close that your car's grill and headlights fail to show up in that car's rear-view mirror will either push them to follow the car immediately in front of them just as closely, because there's no way that can be perceived as risky and dangerous driving. Following a car that's behind another car anywhere from "way too close" to "close enough to check for miniscule paint flaws on the rear bumper" will somehow make that first car in line move faster and shave a whopping 3.6 seconds off that trip down South Parkway. It's a proven scientific fact that the message will travel telepathically from the person you're gently encouraging to speed up to the driver in front of them, and so on until everyone's moving right along at the speed you choose or everyone realizes their inferiority and moves out of your way. It's not really self-importance if where you're going at that exact moment really is more important than any place anyone else has had to go, ever.
Of course, if you're going to do it, if you're going to show that car immediately in front of you the error of their ways, you really have to commit. With great power, comes great responsibility. Follow even closer if the car that needs to be tailgated slows down, whether as a message, because of a road hazard, because of a slowdown in traffic flow... or, most likely, for no reason whatsoever except for their abject idiocy. If that car jumps on the brakes briefly in a futile attempt to send a message back to you, close in even tighter and flash your headlights to indicate they need to go faster, because they're too stupid and self-absorbed to know that they're in your way. And don't worry if they can barely even see your headlights because you're that close to them... somehow the message will get through their thick skulls and they will fall down on their knees, kiss your feet and humbly apologize for having wasted your obscenely valuable time.
One more tip... if your headlight flash prompts a middle finger... make sure to deliver at least two of your own in retaliation (one immediately upon the other driver's bird, and another when you finally get to blow past them thanks to you own peerless intrepidity), because you've done nothing wrong and any attempt for someone to indicate otherwise is merely a desperate attempt by that person trying to cover for their lack of driving ability.
(By the way... the above is sarcasm. I'm sure you could figure that out... unless you're the psycho bitch wielding the car with this plate, that is. In which case, if you are this particular Most Important Person On The Face Of The Earth, thanks for advancing far beyond the usual class of bad driver in Huntsville, and kindly go off and have sex with yourself.)
Side note... Platewire really needs a graphic representation of Alabama's new "God Bless America" tag. That's what type of tag this moronic bitch had, and that's what a lot of the bad drivers I come across around here have as well.

Lane Changing Maniac   Wednesday, May 06, 2009

This pertains to the maniac that was driving { if you want to call it that} through Madison Al. on May 6th around

1pm, in a brown chevy malibu with Ga. plate #BC2L04. I have never seen an idiot quite like you. You were changing lanes like a NASCAR driver on crack. You would cut people off in a mad rush only to arrive at the next red light 1 second ahead of me. I followed you all the way to Huntsville and you beat me there a full 2 seconds. That was a remarkable feat, for somebody that left about a dozen motorist extremely mad. My only thoughts were I would hope you would wipe out and not hurt anybody else.

And on top of that you had that cell about an inch deep in that BLACK EAR. Real smart STUPID!!!

This guy is going to get someone killed   Monday, June 09, 2008

A new white ford truck heading south on 231from Hazelgreen,AL. to Huntsville,AL. committed road rage against the car in front of me,then when I went by they started the same crap with me only worse.I was ran completely off the road three times and they tried hard as they could to cause an accident.2 white males.Criminal charges have been filed.Damage to my vehical. They then blocked my suv in at a gas station as I went in to call the police. The only reason I pulled up to a public place was to have witnesses and the only reason I walked away from my vehicle and into the building was to show that I was on the defence.Good thing you didn't follow me in because you would have been shot if you had persued me any further. What you two guys did was way beyond typical road rage.It was attempted murder.I will find you eventually. You have messed with the wrong guy.Through this event I have found that I tend to get a little obsessed with finding someone who attempted to take my life.My kids could have easily been in that vehicle. If they had been you would not be breathing right now if someone else hasn't taken care of you already.Do NOT think high & mighty of yourselves as if you scared someone and got away with it because 1. you have not yet gotten away with it. 2. you are alive only due to my ability to stay calm and not act too hasty.I would rather let big bubba get his feel on your butt  in prison than do all the paperwork on shooting you.Hopefully for your sake there will not be a next time and hopefully the police get you off the streets before you have a chance to hurt someone or get someone or yourselves killed.

Dangerous driver   Friday, January 18, 2008

January 17th, on 65 North at 7 am. The black Mistubishi Montero Sport with the license plate # AN13164. The reason I flashed my lights at you was because you dangerously flew in front of my truck (without a blinker of course) and almost hit me. Not sure why you thought it was okay for you to weave in and out of traffic just to get to the 459 exit 2 seconds quicker than anyone else. I hope you get a ticket jack @ss.

    CULLMAN   Thursday, February 08, 2007

People drive from Cullman everyday to Birmingham for work, and those are the ones that drive like DUMB-ASS!!! 25G8056 gray/green Cheverlotte truck, driving 90 miles an hour and excepts me to move over from the fast lane when I was going about the max as I could go in a 70 miles hours on 65 south. needless to say, he didn't like it when I got up his butt!!! He likes to take pictures. CULLMAN residents need to stay in CULLMAN!!! Apparently he has done this before since he had his camera in his truck--watch out for this DUMB-ASS and all others who come from Cullman.

Tailgating Fools   Monday, January 22, 2007

Why is it... Every week I see the same fool doing the same foolish things between Laceys Spring and Huntsville???

Hey there 50F608L... You speed an average of 10 mph faster than the rest of us... You tailgate every car that you come up behind, and I believe that you go out of your way to jump from lane to lane in order to tailgate even more cars along the way!!! You cut car after car off swerving from lane to lane within inches of both the back and front bumpers of other cars on the road. You run vehicles off the edge of the road with your maniacal behavior when you get really teed-off!!

What's up with you? Not enough meds, too much medicating? Try getting your roadraged crazy ass out the door 5 or 10 minutes sooner in the morning and slow the F down!!!!!!!!! I'm armed with a video camera now as I ride along with my co-workers and will be watching for you. I know cops at Huntsville PD and have a friend with a relative in the Sheriffs Dept. They have voiced MUCH interest in seeing you on video and will be waiting to nail you to the cross!!!

Slow down dumbass and QUIT Tailgating!!!!!!!

Bad Driver yelling and pionting   Saturday, January 20, 2007

Saw a bad driver just yesterday.  Seems they are everywhere.  He Ive done my share of bad driving and I have defineatly had my share come back.  One things for sure this guy was plain horrible at driving.  Following me, yelling at me, pointing his finger at me.  Then he stopped and took a picture of my car as if he was going to let the whole world know why I should be punished such a horrible thing.  Lord knows Im a perfect driver now.  I never make any type of mistakes.

We all know this is sarcastic.  One thing is for dam sure.  Going on the internet and telling what the driving person looks like, what make and model his/her car is telling them where they live ("INVERNESS" kind of narrows it down)and did I hear right?...taking pictures of his/her car????, is scary.  I dont have an answer but I can tell you that this isnt it.  Dont put my on here.  If you see me on the road doing something wrong tell me.  Just dont cause an accident trying to write down my make model and description.

Watch out for this guy!!!   Sunday, December 17, 2006

If you are driving in Marshall, Madison or Etowah county, Alabama, I would highly suggest keeping an eye out for the following cars: (1) White Dodge Neon, damage to the front right headlight, light blue/gray "racing stripe" down the middle of the front hood, license plate number 50D195H. Why? This guy has a very lead foot, and to my knowledge, he has numerous speeding tickets (ask both of his ex-wives) & the accidents that he has caused, he has tried to blame on other people. If you see him approaching you (behind you), just get over if you can and let him pass! (2) Also keep a look-out for a Cadillac (beige-type color) with the license plate 47A942A. This gentleman also has a lead-foot problem & to top that off, he has no problem passing other motorists in a no-passing zone! Even if you are going over 10 miles above the posted speed limit, you still aren't going fast enough for him! From what I saw, he was in a hurry to get to church (it was today, Sunday, December 17th), but really ... was he really in that big of a hurry to see a Christmas play? Be careful when you see this idiot, and be prepared to keep your attention out of the rear view mirror because he loves to flash his highbeams, even in the daylight!
