To "Award" a driver, is to say thanks to a driver for showing courtesy and thoughtfulness.

To "Flag" a driver, is to warn a driver of his/her rude and/or careless behavior that you have witnessed.

To "Wink" at a driver, is to send a flirtacious message to a driver you've encountered.

To "Hazard" a driver is to warn them of a physical hazard that their vehicle exhibits.

  • North of the Beltway on IH-45, the speed limit is 65 but most people are doing a little above that -- except it was raining. This very important pr*ck was in a big hurry, doing at least 85, weaving and darting across four lanes of traffic, cutting off large trucks and other cars. No lights for visibility, no signals for the lane changes. If I wasn't headed to a gathering, we would have had a "meeting of minds" to test the limits of his coverage -- that is, if he even had insurance.
