  • I was driving on 135th st around 9:15pm in OP. I was with a friend, and the road was pretty empty. I caught myself doing 55 in a 45, slowed it down. I glance in my rearview mirror and see a Kia Sedona minivan (early 2000's) speeding towards me. At this point, 135th had four lanes. I was in the second from the left, and before I could switch lanes to get out of the way, he swerves into the far left, passes me, and swerves into the far right. My friend said she saw him screaming and flailing his arms as he passed. He was alone. Thinking that he may have a medical emergency, we didn't call the police, however, as we approached a red light with many cars around, he became orderly and stopped at the light. We followed behind him for a few miles and noticed he was actually stopping traffic by running red lights and swerving tauntingly within his own lane. It was at this point we decided to call 911 and report him. By the time I got off the phone he was out of sight. My first thought was that maybe he was drunk, but in retrospect I'm guessing maybe he was on drugs or was having some sort of episode.

Needless to say, it was terrifying and I can't help but wonder what happened to the guy.

  • The pickup line at the school leads west down the street and around the block, as it has for years. Everyone gets in the line and waits their turn EXCEPT for this self important twit. As the line begins to move, this jerk comes in from the other direction and forces his way into the front of the line between two cars. Just because you have a fancy black car with custom wheels and wear a fancy sports coat doesn't give you the right to bypass the rest of us who follow the rules. Then to top it off, as he leaves he turns left at the big NO LEFT TURN sign to nearly hit an oncoming car head-on.

  • This was a Johnson County (JO) Kansas personalized license plate. I could not see the driver. From the rear of the car the only thing I could see in any of the vehicles mirrors was the headrest of the drivers seat. What happend was as I was south on Pflumm road approaching Blackfish Parkway in Shawnee, KS, less then 10 feet from the White (stop) line in my lane, doing 30mph, this vehicle approached from eastbound Blackfish PKWY swerving through a red light and right in front of me. I hit the brakes and the horn, which only led to whoever was driving that thing to hit their brakes. SMART! Luckliy I was able to avoid hitting them. They continued south on Pflumm to 83rd Street in Lenexa, KS where the car turned westbound and I continued South.

I do see the irony in this plate of "BHOOMI" as I almost rearened the car. But it would definatly have not been a laughing matter had I not been able to stop when he or she felt it necessary to slam on their brakes after running a red light and pulling infront of my car.

  • Plate number might be off a digit or two as there was a ladder on the back of this thing that partially blocked the license plate. The driver was doing the exact same speed (UNDER the speed limit) as the car beside him. He made zero attempt move over from the left lane. When traffic on Northbound Pflumm started stacking up he took his rampage onto residential streets cutting through them speeding past playing children. I took Pflumm north all the way to 95th Street from 127th where I first ended up behind him. He turned off of Northbound Pflumm onto Lenexa Drive and still ended up meeting up with me again at I-35 and 95th Street so he got absolutly nowhere by trying to cut through. I know it was the same KCTV5 news truck because I was again stuck behind him on the entrance ramp to Northbound I-35. Once I was finally able to get around him on I-35 he was on a blackberry typing away, must have been steering with a knee since he had both hands on the phone.

Watch out for this nut.

  • KDOT announces the temporary closure of the far left lane of I-35 for renaming. It will now be marked as MATSWFE's lane. Anyone else found in this lane had better get out of her way. This African American female just happily barrels along in her big SUV, tailgating until the car in front of her moves and continuing on to her next victim. All the while she is seen putting on lipstick in her mirror and adjusting her radio/CD player. This woman has no regard for the other drivers around her.

  • I was wondering why this vehicle couldn't bother to stay within the lane markers or signal lane changes until I got beside her. It was a teenage girl driving with her left hand while holding her cell phone and texting with her right hand. She spent more time looking over at her phone than at the road and staying aware of her driving. Numerous times she changed lanes without a signal and she could barely keep her little SUV in her own lane. I passed her more than five minutes later and she was still hard at work texting. Very dangerous teenager.

  • Coming around median work, one turn lane spreads to two. This butthead in his fancy beamer stops between the two lanes, blocking everyone behind him as he waits to see which lane will have fewer cars as if it's really going to matter. Then as the two lanes of cars merge down to one preparing to enter the highway, this jerk rides the line all the way to the end of the merge before darting in between two cars. Watch out for this arrogant, self important twit.

  • Not only does this woman have no regard for the other drivers around her, she apparently has no regard for the safety of her own child. Speeding, tailgating and changing lanes multiple times without using a turn signal. The only good thing is that her child was secured in a safety seat so that when his or her mommy gets into a big wreck driving like a maniac, the child may not be injured. No surprise to see the big JO country sticker on her tag either - Johnson County, land of aggressive self important drivers.

  • Weaving lane to lane, crossing yellow lines, running off onto the shoulder numerous times, failure to maintain speed. This Daddy's Girl was obviously impaired. Unfortunately she made it to her home in Lansing before PD could catch up with her. They know now, though, so hopefully they'll be watching for her when she does this again.

  • Most rush hour "accidents" are the result of at least one person being an idiot. With how you are driving, weaving in and out of traffic, tailgating and using your right turn signal as you swerve LEFT across two lanes of highway traffic, you may be the next idiot to cause a pileup. You aren't going to get anywhere much faster than the rest of us as traffic starts backing up only a mile or two up the road. Maybe it's part of your self-important nature to be first to the traffic jam. you most certainly will be first to the wreck when you cause one.

  • First off, I don't think you are going to get shot at in the high crime city of Roeland Park, so try sitting up straight in your seat instead of laid back with your head leaning on the B post. Maybe that way you will see those shiny reflective things called mirrors that you obviously have no knowledge of. Darting from lane to lane, cutting off numerous vehicles as you race up behind the next car in each line, tailgating until you can dart around them too. I could see that you weren't even looking to make sure you were clear each time you changed lanes. As we continued down Roe, you were stuck at many of the same lights as me, so what did you accomplish with this aggressive driving of yours? Thank you, though, for having a personalized tag so I could easily remember it when it was time to enter you here.

  • Apparently you need your eyes checked because you can't seem to grasp the concept of parking lines. In a full parking lot where every other driver managed to get their cars in between the yellow stripes, here you are parked diagonally across two spots. Your Explorer is not that special and neither are you. I can only hope Mission PD needs to boost their revenue and leaves a nice piece of paper from the city (AKA parking ticket) on your oh so special vehicle.

Careless driving   Tuesday, September 16, 2008

Saturday Sept 13 at about 3:30 pm  this I was in the next to left lane on I-70 West of KC Ks.  This driver pulled up in the lane to my right reading papers and changed into mylane forceing me to change lanes to prevent an accident. Drive, or read, don't try both.  Kansas SN RZN 139

hit a child and RAN   Tuesday, January 15, 2008

What the hell is happing these days my son and step-daughter was out riding their bike and this...we find out later female.. BITCH. swerved and hit my son while he was paused on the sidewalk waiting for her to go by like he has been told to. The proceeded to go on home like nothing had happened. So my step-daughter had the quick thinking to go and get the plate number of her car, after she had pulled into her driveway. The police told me she "claims" to have been teaching piano lessions since 3 this afternoon and no one had drove the car. WTH if your a child on a bike or have children that ride bikes in the Mission area stay away from this car VPJ549 KS plates.

and just because my step-daughter is on probation for some minor crap they dont believe them. They had a lady in the park walking her dogs but didnt get a chance to get her name. You just gotta love cops and their limits.

government issued driver in Wyandotte Coutny, KS   Friday, July 20, 2007

You, at I-435 & Leavenworth Rd. in Wyandotte County, driving your 36807F Government Issued car.  Me, trying to maintain my position on the 2 lane-merging into one lane section of road, driving my little Chevy Cobalt.  You, hating having to slow to 35 miles per hour from 70 miles per hour, to prove how big and bad you are, blow past me, nearly side-swiping me, only to have to stop at a red light 100 feet later.  Proving once again, only the real a**holes get cars issued to them courtesy of tax payers.  But just for the record, I pay taxes to be on that road, even if you don't.  I hope we meet again.  I'll have my camera waiting for you do something else equally arrogant and self-centered.

Overland Park 135th & Switzer stop light   Saturday, January 13, 2007

OK guys, there are two signs at 135th and Switzer, indicating "NO RIGHT ON RED", while turning north onto Switzer.  The signs are there for a reason, the driver's heading south on Switzer have a left turn arrow which allows them to make a "u-turn" and head north on Switzer.  There have been several times when I have the green arrow and I begin to make a u-turn when some JoCo idiot turns right on red without stopping and nearly causes a collision.  Then you fools, you know who you are, give me the nasty looks and or the finger.  The signs have been there for years, pay attention and learn how to read!  And where the hell are Overland Park's finest?

Follow Speed Limits!!   Sunday, December 17, 2006

This is for those stationed on or working on Fort Riley, Kansas. When you enter post through the Trooper Drive gate, the speed limit is 45 mph. It turns to 35 mph AFTER and only AFTER passing the commissary. So do us all a favor, and do the speed limit, not 30 or 35, because traffic is already a problem on the one lane road. Obey speed limits!!
