  • Driver parked and blocked 3/4 of a private driveway during rodeo celebration where all cars were parked on the street thus blocking any entrance and exit of personal vehicles from the driveway. Noticed open container of beer in driver's cup holder.

When these people were approached about their vehicle, the woman who was a passenger got extremely angry and hurled beer, spit in my face, and threatened someone else with a knife and stated she didn't care if we couldn't get out of our driveway when we told her the owner was diabetic and may have an emergency. Plus emergency medical people were also blocked in. They also had two children in the back of the car.

  • I was cycling south along Chris Larsen park road( to the right) along the Missouri riverfront near argosy casino when a black SUV coming up behind me with another car going north on a 2 lane city street, and the black SUV failed to Yield to a (me) cyclist with oncoming traffic,so he passes in between me and the other vehicle and yells at me,while the other driver had to decide whether he should proceed through or to drive up on the curb to miss the driver of the Suv.Iowa law says all vehicles must yield to cyclist with oncoming traffic. cyclist have the same right as vehicles on any roadway(share the road) except interstates. this driver needs to follow the rules of the road and show respect to cyclist on any roadway. watch out for this vehicle.next time i will call the police on you (owner) and you will get a ticket for failing to yield Nebraska drivers. i will be watching for your plates and SUV

  • She passed me and another car in a residential area while we were driving the speed limit. Then she pulled around a vehicle who was stopped at a stop sign because she didn't want to wait for that vehicle or stop at the stop sign herself. Drives very fast in residential areas and tailgates aggressively.

  • PLEASE NOTE: This car has black/gold Uni of Iowa Hawkeye plates but those are not an option on the system. Car also has large Hawkeye icon decals in window. This driver was heading SB on Merle Hay Rd @ appx 955 am and completely blew off the red light.

I was heading WB on Aurora when I witnessed this. E/W bound traffic had green light and right of way and were proceeding on Aurora and N/S Merle Hay RD traffic was stopped. Vehicle in Merle Hay #1 SB lane was stopped, #2 lane was clear. Small vehicle with right of way was heading EB on Aurora and crossing Merle Hay when minivan in #2 SB lane lane flew through intersection at over 30 mph. He was able to brake and swerve and slid sideways avoiding the driver who was crossing Merle Hay but quickly backed up to correct himself and continued driving SB on Merle Hay (he got out of there so quickly I was unable to get car make but did make sure I got plate). This driver is obviously a danger to others and needs to be taken off the road before he kills someone through his carelessness.

  • I was leaving the Target at Merle Hay Mall and was in the cross walk (nearly all the way across) and this driver blew off the stop sign in front of the store and nearly ran me over. I waved my arms and yelled - his passenger was shocked but I don't think he ever say me. The driver is an elderly man - if you are on foot, BEWARE!

  • Last night we had rain followed by heavy snow, so the roads have been rather slick today with a lot of ice patches. I'm going south on I-35 around noon, driving under the speed limit (like most people) due to the slick conditions. This Jeep passes me, and there is a semi behind him. After the Jeep gets a little ways ahead of me, he slows down...way down...for no apparent reason. I would say, based on the speed I was driving, that he dropped his speed from about 70 to about 40 very quickly. The semi honked at the Jeep, and the guy in the Jeep hits the brakes and slows to probably about 25 (and this is on the rural interstate in the passing lane.) The semi starts fishtailing and weaving from lane to lane. The guy driving the Jeep sees this takes off flying...doing probably about 80 to 90. Good thing for me the semi was behind me or he would have hit me. Fortunately the semi regained control before anything bad could happen. I have seen a lot of stupid things out on the road, but this has to be the dumbest thing I have ever seen. You don't play games like this on the road, and you certainly don't do it with semis on icy roads.

Very aggressive high speed driver in a steroid Ford pickup.  August 1, 2007 at 5:45 PM. Traveling about 20-25 miles above speed limit when he encountered a long line of traffic going south on 69.  Trying to pass in no passing zones and tailgating about 5 feet from my bumper.  Finally passed on the RIGHT through a county road intersection at high speed which raised a big cloud of dust!  What an idiot!

    PR0527 - Light blue cab   Sunday, May 27, 2007

Ok truck driver.  How rude of you.  I hope you remember last week on Hwy. 169 N. between Humboldt and Fort Dodge.  I was driving to F.D. with my 12 year old daughter and I had my cruise control set at 60pmh yet you were riding so close it was scarry.  I was not only scared for myself, but my daughter.  Who kept looking out the back window at you.  You'd slow down a little and speed right back up.  At one point you were so close I couldn't see your license plate!  The speed limit on Hwy.169 is only 55pmh.  So SLOW DOWN!  You don't own the road.  And when I was able to get over for the so called slower traffic lane you still couldn't pass me because there was a hill and you couldn't get up speed.  Yet I stayed steady at 60mph.  But a couple times I had to speed up cuz I felt you would hit us!  Is it intimidation you're trying for?  I hope you realize there are many innocent people on the roads.  You need to slow down before you cause an accident.

This drivers plate number was PR0527  (Iowa)  Cab color - light blue - pulling a round tank (gasoline? other liquid?  not sure.)
