Title Lane Change Surprise
Plate Alabama 47R95T9
Received Saturday, March 03, 2012
Vehicle Red FORD  Ranger
Location Huntsville  (Alabama)
Incident Beware the red Ford Ranger pickup with the broken left taillight! On Memorial Parkway, this red Ford Ranger suddenly swerved from the far right onramp to the far left lane, across two lanes of traffic. (I was in the far left lane at the time.) I honked twice when he(?) suddenly swerved into the center lane, to alert him (?) that I was there. It did no good: he (?) swerved over on top of me, forcing me to brake suddenly, to keep from being driven into the dividing wall to my left. I did not get a look at the driver through the tinted windows, but I did catch the plate before he (?) sped off: AL plate 47R95T9.

It seems that every driver wants to have their left lane security blanket. The spot where, if you go slow enough, you'll never have to make another driving decision until you lurch across multiple lanes, diving for your exit. I'm not surprised at all that some clown would obliviously head straight for that lane right after merging. A good half the drivers on the road do exactly that every time they get onto a limited access road of any kind.
