You should read up on a little psychology, and the concept of a partial reinforcement schedule, and how it promotes behavior in the conditioned individual.

After a troll, such as PD26, gets his positive reinforcement - such as you provide to him - even infrequent reinforcements will perpetuate the behavior.  It is like rewarding a dog with a treat for following commands.  Once the conditioning is in place, you don't have to reward the dog every time; infrequent rewards will keep the animal conditioned, and happy to continue the behavior.

 I'm thinking that PD26 is actually female-- Late teens/ early 20s, unemployed or underemployed, still living at home, and in a secret sexual relationship with her father. Fits the profile....
