What's the hurry?

Wisconsin drivers suck!
It doesn't matter whether there's sun, fog, rain, sleet or snow.

1) Pass on the right on a single lane road when someone is turning left.
2) Fail to stop for pedestrians in crosswalks (even when clearly marked) and school in zones.
3) Tailgate someone that is driving the posted speed limit on main arterials and side streets.

Get a life and get some skills...

I am taking for that you are from Illinois.......kindly keep your comments to yourself. My observations of Illinois drivers in WI are - rude - excessive speed - excessive lane changes and basically outright stupid.

My look on things is "Live in Illinois stay in Illinois"

  1) that is legal if the situation permits 2) in my opinion, if vehicles are coming and you start walking in a crosswalk when vehicles are already approaching, you pretty much deserve to get hit 3) not all wisconsinites do this, just the young teen girls and older women

First, I learned how to drive in WI and have been driving here for the past 7 years. I am NOT from IL (which let's face it, while reckless are still more considerate drivers than WI drivers).

@patkelly 1)False, it is completely illegal to pass someone over any solid line regardless of whether they are turning left or what state you are in. 2) If the person just walks right out in front of an obviously close car, then yes. But they still have right of way as pedestrians regarless. 3)EVERYONE in WI does this, I would say at least 75% of drivers. Happened to me on my way to work this morning (I was going 5mph over) and I'm sure it will happen on my way home too.

Bottom line, WI drivers are just rude.
