Look, Rocket Scientist, I do not like it either, but the law states that I must let a pedestrian, in a crosswalk, with a pedestrian signal in his favour, pass. I had signalled to turn left onto Constitution Avenue, but waited, as the law demands, to allow the pedestrian, in the crosswalk , with the WALK signal in his favour, pass. That did not sit quite right with you, so you blasted that horn at me. Look, Jack, I do not like waiting for pedestrians, either, but the law does not YET require that I like it (the DNC is working on that part); it only requires, as of this posting, that I do it. I agree with you, we motorists should not have to wait for pedestrians, even if they ARE in a crosswalk with the WALK light showing. Still, until the law changes (no' bloo'y loikley, as they say Down Under), I am going to let them pass. Blast your horn at the people who make and support these laws, not me, who only complies with them.
