shining a LASER into our rearview mirror trying to blind/distract driver, trying to run us off the road: almost hit us several times in the back and by side-swiping, unsafe lane changing and deliberate blocking, DANGEROUS driving, yelling and gesturing ... front tag: BAMA woman driver with long greyish ponytail, male passenger, kids in back traveling north on HWY 21 (4 lanes) Sunday, May 15, 2011 *we were not driving too slowly and do not know what triggered this woman's road rage; she had children in her truck. we also had babies in our vehicle and a very pregnant passenger in our car, who became so frightened by the incident that she began having contractions. we reported the vehicle to the local municipality*

thank you for your concern! she is fine; the doctor said they were just braxton-hicks contractions, although they were probably brought on by the stress. the dispatcher we spoke to said they'd "try to get someone on it," but i think it was just to make us feel better. they never collected any info from us. i was considering calling them back to follow-up, just so they know we were serious about the threat the antagonistic driver imposed. do you think i should? ~ B O B

I think you should, and go down to the station to file an official report with a request for an update. Then casually mention that you think the local media would like to hear about it too, especially since lasers have been implicated in airplane emergencies too. That usually works. I'm glad your passenger is ok too. Good luck
