This would have been a hazard if not for the driver's actions. The left taillight was not working, therefore no blinker. He was in the center lane and I was in the left (on a city street) because my turn was at the next major intersection. Approaching 72nd and Farnam, my lane moves forward enough that I slightly pass him to see the rapidly blinking front left turn blinker. So I tried to slow a bit to let him in, but his lane starts moving. 3 cars ahead of me, he finds an opening to cut thru to get into the turn lane for Farnam just a few yards from the intersection. Mind you, this is on slushy roads from a snowstorm. 1) Get your taillight fixed so people behind you can see that you are signaling. 2) Be in the lane that will open up for your turn at least one intersection BEFORE your turn, at least 2 if traffic is heavy, ESPECIALLY on snow.
