This pitiful cab driver decided to 'dive bomb' me on Howard just before the intersection with 5th at 9:05am, Friday 17th August 2007. Annoyed, apparently, that I was in a lane, he sped up behind me honking his horn. As I looked behind me, I saw the blue/black DeSoto Dodge Minivan with its White 'V' design flashing his lights and speeding at my rear bicycle wheel. Intimidation? Thats not cool, nor legal. This challenge individual then straddled two lanes and tried to get past me as close as possible, speeding through the intersection and past the other traffic. When I caught up to him at 4th and Folsom, he was in the RH turn lane. I pulled out my phone/camera and was about to take a memento when he tire-spun an illegal turn on red. I guess he must have understood, at some level, what a dumbass he'd been.
