Her driving sounds bad, but the trooper's failure to take action is even more egregious. I see troopers and county police in MD look the other way all the time, and it undermines the traffic laws. Now, someone will say "he might have been going to a call" or "give him the benefit of the doubt," but those excuses can only be invoked so many times before they wear thin and--like the police themselves--lose credibility.

This trooper was definitely not on a call. He was probably headed to the court house. It's just irritating b/c you know if I was going 54 (in a 50) I'd get pulled over but this moron driving like an a-hole is ok.
Strange too, considering the rumor's I've heard is they have been trying to step up enforcement in Carroll County so they can become "THE" police dept. of the county, since we kinda don't have any except the local guys.
