To "Award" a driver, is to say thanks to a driver for showing courtesy and thoughtfulness.

To "Flag" a driver, is to warn a driver of his/her rude and/or careless behavior that you have witnessed.

To "Wink" at a driver, is to send a flirtacious message to a driver you've encountered.

To "Hazard" a driver is to warn them of a physical hazard that their vehicle exhibits.

What is wrong with Columbia drivers?

 Columbia's driving idiosyncrasy has always been the "free" left turn on red and left turn rightaway.  But especially in recent years driving errors of all types have become prevalent leading one to speculate that there exists a special city law relating to traffic laws; i.e.
Driver Classes Exempt From Federal, State, and City Traffic Laws

The following classes of drivers of automobiles, trucks, or other vehicles are exempt from adhering to all federal, state, and city traffic laws:

1.  Drivers of all city emergency vehicles.
2.  All other city drivers including city bus, school bus, and maintenance vehicles.
3.  All drivers of commercial vehicles.
4.  All drivers connected with the University of Missouri.
5.  All other students going to or returning from public and private schools, colleges, and universities.
6.  All elderly drivers.
7.  All drivers commuting to either work or to shopping.
8.  All other classes not included in the above.
