I think that everyone over age sixty needs to have a driving test at least every six months to ensure that they are still able to drive safely. This has happened a lot recently and it's very, very tragic.

For the community's safety and his own, the man should have his license permanently revoked. At ninety-three years old, he's obviously not capable of driving safely anymore.

 Everyone should have to take a drivers proficiency test every two years opposite their smog check.   No age group can be singled out as being comprized of perfect drivers.  Be responsible for your own path, and respect others.   Some day you may make it to 60.

I would have no problem taking the test every two years. I know the difference between the gas and brake pedals!
