To "Award" a driver, is to say thanks to a driver for showing courtesy and thoughtfulness.

To "Flag" a driver, is to warn a driver of his/her rude and/or careless behavior that you have witnessed.

To "Wink" at a driver, is to send a flirtacious message to a driver you've encountered.

To "Hazard" a driver is to warn them of a physical hazard that their vehicle exhibits.

"then before one can react, jumps right and passes" Typical. Why didn't the driver passed on the right move over, into what was clearly available space to the right, since there was enough room for them to be passed on that side? Why did the pass happen "before one can react?" Do I really even need to say it? The driver who was the victim here was camped obliviously in the left lane, not paying attention, and the inevitable and direct result was this aggressive right lane pass. The brake check afterwards was completely wrong. It's best to just honk at such people to try to give them a clue, not jam on the brakes.
