On September 20, I was driving north on I15 near the Hurricane exit. I was in the right lane. Traffic was fairly heavy and there was little room between vehicles. A white Dodge Neon (with a radar detector in the front window) with a male driver came up on my left. Needless to say, this person had waited too long to get into the right lane He then tried pulling into my lane. I pulled onto the shoulder and honked the horn. The driver did pull over and fall in line behind me after this happened. When we got on the exit road, the driver immediately passed me and gave me the one finger salute as he passed me.

Amazing how this driver was the aggressor, the guilty party and yet he blames me for his actions. . .

Nobody in Utah knows page 13 of the drivers manual where it explicitly mentions the "gore" area. They think that since their lane ends that gives them right of way, when in fact the opposite is true. It's totally ridiculous.

It's a fad in Utah to wait until the last minute to change lanes when your lane is ending. They try to pass as many cars as possible and feel drivers in the other lane are obligated to let them over as they reach the end of their lane.
