I was going down a hill picking up speed. This man proceeded to pass me and cut me off. Needless to say he had a boat attached to his truck. He about hit me!!!!!

so why didn't you slow down so he could know that's what those dotted yellow lines are pass people. Pretty sure you can still pass people even if you have a boat/trailer/camper attached.

Since when should a driver SLOW down so someone can pass them? Reguardless of what the idiot was pulling behind them, not real safe to almost hit another vehicle with yours or with whatever you are towing!! Keep in mind, it takes alot more effort to pass another vehicle when you are towing something, usually not a good idea, unless you really need to!

well, I'm not saying either one was "right or wrong"...I would just assume that in this senario the typical person would slow down if they noticed a vehicle pulling something was trying to pass...especially if they feared they would be hit!? just a thought...

There is a law that says that you are not to accelerate when someone is passing you
