To "Award" a driver, is to say thanks to a driver for showing courtesy and thoughtfulness.

To "Flag" a driver, is to warn a driver of his/her rude and/or careless behavior that you have witnessed.

To "Wink" at a driver, is to send a flirtacious message to a driver you've encountered.

To "Hazard" a driver is to warn them of a physical hazard that their vehicle exhibits.

Vigilante traffic director

 Washington Avenue in Portland Maine today a guy hopped out of his silver pick up truck (Maine veteran plate 2695) and started pounding on a car in the middle of the intersection and attempted to direct traffic to clear the intersection. Only issue...he didn't pay attention to the traffic signals nor the fact that there were 8 lanes of traffic wanting to go in different directions. He made things MUCH worse and then hopped back in his car and drove through the red light crossing 4 lanes of traffic. Shocked no one was killed by his actions. (
